Digital Pasts, Presents, and Futures: Human Consequences
Oslo, 24.-25. August, 2026
This conference critically examines how digital technologies shape—and are shaped by—historical trajectories, present-day practices, and imagined futures. We are particularly interested in the human consequences of digitalization: how technologies reconfigure work, care, governance, democracy, knowledge, inequality, embodiment, memory, and social relations across time.
DIGIT partners: UiB, Nord, UiO, USN, NTNU, UiA, OsloMet, Institutt for Samfunnsforskning, LO, Spekter, NAV, Digdir, KS and No Isolation
